Tour Conditions
Consumer Protection
The following booking conditions and operator responsibilities apply to all holiday arrangements offered by Bali Tours Indonesian Specialists / Bali Travel Service (VIC) Pty Ltd.
Please note that tours and services described in our brochure or on our website may change from time to time after publication. Changes to airline fares, accommodation rates, or currency exchange rates may affect the pricing of certain tours and services.
We strongly recommend that you carefully review these Tour Conditions and Responsibilities and consult your travel agent or Bali Tours Indonesian Specialists to confirm whether any changes have occurred to the tour or services you wish to book. This should be done before booking, after booking, and prior to final payment.
Booking Conditions
Bookings and Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $150 per person is required within 7 days of booking to secure your reservation. The final balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to departure.
However, this amount will vary according to the destination concerned.
Some suppliers may require a higher deposit or additional payment to meet their individual booking conditions. If this applies, you will be advised at the time of booking.
All deposits are non-refundable.
A range of airfares may be available in conjunction with your holiday package, and these may carry different payment deadlines and conditions.
Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment upon receipt of invoice.
If payment is not received by the due date, Bali Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply applicable cancellation fees.
Bookings made within 7 days of departure will only be accepted if full payment is received at the time of reservation. These bookings may also incur additional communication or administration costs and are subject to flight and accommodation availability.
Cancellations
Cancellation fees apply when cancelling a booking and may be up to 100% of the total booking value, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
The following cancellation fees apply as a minimum and are subject to change:

More than 45 days prior to departure: Loss of non-refundable deposit ($150 per person) plus any supplier cancellation fees.

45 days or less prior to departure: Loss of deposit ($150 per person) plus supplier cancellation fees, which may be up to 100% of the booking cost.
These cancellations will again vary according to the destination.
Supplier fees may include charges imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise companies, or local ground operators.
Reservation Amendments
If changes are requested after a booking has been confirmed:

$30 amendment fee will apply per change, plus any supplier amendment fees.

$60 amendment fee will apply if travel documents have already been issued, in addition to any supplier fees.
Refunds
No refunds will be provided for unused tours, accommodation, or other services once travel has commenced.
Tour Costs
Tour prices are based on current exchange rates, hotel pricing, and sightseeing costs, and are subject to change without notice.
Airfares used in conjunction with tour packages are subject to airline availability and fare rules. Airline tickets are generally non-refundable and non-changeable after departure.
Baggage
Baggage allowances vary between airlines and fare types.
Travellers should confirm their checked and cabin baggage allowances directly with the airline prior to departure, as excess baggage charges may apply.
Accommodation
Twin-share accommodation is based on two people sharing a twin or double room.
Triple-share accommodation typically consists of a twin or double room with an additional rollaway or sofa bed.
Where two adults and two children share one room, these are usually standard rooms and may be limited in space.
Hotel and Tour Descriptions
Descriptions of hotels, tours, and services are based on information available at the time of publication and may change without notice.
Travel times shown in itineraries are approximate and may vary due to local conditions.
Photographs and Maps
Photographs and maps are provided for general illustration purposes only and may not represent the exact services, routes, or room types provided.
Land-Only Arrangements
A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for land-only bookings.
Travel Documents
A valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry is required for travel to Indonesia.
Airline tickets must be issued in the exact name shown on the traveller’s passport, as airlines may deny boarding if names do not match.
At the time of publication:

Australian passport holders do not require a visa for Bali (Indonesia) for short stays. However, they do need visas for all other destinations.

Non-Australian passport holders should check visa requirements with their travel agent or the relevant Consulate concerned..
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical expenses, travel delays, and other unforeseen circumstances. Insurance can be arranged through your travel agent or insurance provider.

Health Requirements
At the time of publication, no vaccinations are mandatory for travel to Bali. However, travellers should consult their doctor or the Department of Health for the latest medical advice prior to travel for other destinations.
Validity
These tour conditions and prices are valid for travel between:
1 April 2026 – Onward
What Is Not Included in Tour Prices
The following are not included unless specifically stated:

Responsibilities
Bali Tours Indonesian Specialists / Bali Travel Service (VIC) Pty Ltd (referred to as the Operator) acts solely as an agent for airlines, hotels, transport providers, cruise companies, and other service providers.
All tickets, vouchers, and travel documents issued by the Operator are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers providing those services.
By accepting these documents, travellers acknowledge that the Operator is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by:

Acts of God

Weather conditions
-
Airline or transport delays
-
Mechanical breakdowns
-
Government actions or regulations
-
War, civil unrest, strikes, or industrial disputes

Theft or loss of property
-
Epidemics, quarantines, or health restrictions
-
Changes to itineraries or schedules
-
Any event beyond the Operator’s control
The Operator is also not responsible for losses resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documentation, including passports and visas.
Transportation companies are responsible only for the services they operate. The contract of carriage issued by the transport provider constitutes the sole agreement between the traveller and the carrier.
The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend, or cancel tour arrangements when necessary.
While every care is taken with passengers’ luggage or property, the Operator cannot accept liability for loss, damage, or delay in handling personal belongings.
Services may be provided by IATA or non-IATA carriers.
